Treasurer’s Report None ready at date of meeting as treasurer on holiday.

Booking Clerk’s Report As usual the Hall diary was starting to wind down with the end of the summer term approaching, although there had been a children’s party at the start of the month. A bouncy castle had been hired for this, initially intended to be inside and RO had checked there would be enough room, in fact it was put up outside the Hall building. SV and AO still planned to do inventory on Mon 31st from 10am but noted this may change due to personal circumstances.

Correspondence 1) SV had received the summer edition of the Community Buildings newsletter but could find nothing particularly relevant to the committee in it.

1) RO still to complete painting of sink supports in gent’s toilet. 2) SV had noticed that the paint on the front exterior wall of the Hall was looking in poor condition, need to check if any of same paint left in Hall, however no definite plans to do the job were made 3) DM sent information that he had amended the risk assessment following our discussion at previous month’s meeting and had signed it and e mailed copy to the committee. He had also contacted Martin Miller re replacing the strip lights with LED versions and Martin agreed to give us a quote for this. He had not been in contact yet with David Sparkes re gravel from Tarmac. 4) Re the latter SV still to chase Anthea Brooks again, will now do so. 5) SV said had realised most of the problem overhanging tree branches quite small and would try and find time to lop them, however committee felt if not done before could look at this again in autumn as previously agreed. 6) RO had done some work on the table tennis tables. SV reported Ty Schlechter had been in touch about this issue and she had given him RO’s contact number to liaise on the problem but RO said so far he had not been in touch, RO would ring him.

Fund raising No info at this point re profit from Fair

There were two cars which appeared to have been parked in the Hall car park for some time, SV noted their numbers and said she would check at a later date to see if still there before taking any action.

Date of next meeting 8.00pm Mon 4th September, no meeting in August.
