LEIGH ON MENDIP PARISH COUNCIL MEETING HELD ON MONDAY 10 MAY 2004

Thornhills - new application to erect 1st floor extension. After discussion, consideration of letters of objection received and listening to the views of parties involved and affected by this application there were three votes for this to be accepted from NP,GJ and GC and one vote against from JW. Therefore no objections or comments were made to MDC.
Thornhills - appeal against previous planning application to erect a 1st floor extension. It was felt that no additional comments or representation were necessary however the Parish Clerk was requested to contact MDC planning dept. to see if resubmission of the original comments was required.
Clover Cottage, Leigh St. – application to erect stables. No objection and no comments.
Current a/c - payment of SLCC annual subscription was proposed by NP and seconded by GJ. Cheque no. 403 amount £66.00 was written and signed.
Payment of annual insurance premium to Allianz Cornhill was proposed by GJ and seconded by JW. Cheque no. 404 amount £214.56 was written and signed.
