OLD WELLS ROAD/BULLS GREEN LINK PLANNING APPLICATION
It was felt that as the BGL and the OWR were physically linked
the BGL PA had to consider both. Great concern was felt at the
proposal to divert traffic onto the OWR, contrary to the SCC
Structure Plan. It was agreed to circulate a suggested letter
of objection to parishioners stating the PCs reasons for
objecting and asking residents to write to SCC and the DOE.(RD,DT)
Other Parishes along the Mendip Spine will be contacted. (RD,DP)

SEVERN ROAD BRIDGE
DT drew councillors attention to a recent TV article concerning
the construction of the new Severn Bridge link roads and
Cornwall's request that China Clay waste be used for the
foundations. It was agreed to write in support to Avon, Cornwall
& Somerset County Councils and to the DOE in Bristol. (CLERK)

It was also agreed to ask for a copy of the draft Minerals
Planning Guideline for Aggregate Provision for England and Wales.
                                                          (CLERK)
