HELD ON 7 MARCH 1994 AT CHURCH COTTAGE

Councillors present: R Dixon, S Haywood, H Mawdsley, D Pattison,
& D Turner.

PLANNING
Detached Dwelling Land adjacent to 20 Park Hayes - S Haywood
declared an interest as a neighbour.
Outline permission for single dwelling exists for this plot. It
was felt it was - 1) Overdevelopment of site. 2) Larger than the
dwelling granted under outline permission. 3) The Conservatory
would take too much light from the neighbouring property 'The
Quillet'. (CLERK)

Application to retain Bollards at Examiner House - The removal of
the bollards is the subject of a 'Breach of Condition Notice'.
The PC objected on the grounds as stated in the above notice para
4 "The Local Planning Authority do not consider that the bollards
are appropriate features on the edge of this village in this very
prominent location, it wishes to ensure that the site remains
free from solid objects in the interests of visual
amenity." (CLERK)

Mendip District Plan - information circulated. The PC's initial
imput on strategy issues must be in by 31 March so a meeting was
arranged for 21 March in the School at 7.30. (CLERK)

Notification had been received that the Halecombe Quarry Liaison
Meeting had been postponed.

Mendip Woodland Forum RD will attend meeting on 11/03. (RD)

NEXT MEETING - 21 MARCH 7.30 IN THE SCHOOL.
