 WASTE COLLECTION DATES | Collections start from 6am Recycling: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 (weekly Tuesdays) Refuse Bin: 17 (every 3 weeks, Tuesdays) Garden Waste: 12, 26 (every 2 weeks, Thursdays) NB Collection days for recycling and refuse bin shown are for the village, other parish areas may be different. |
| Monday 2nd to Friday 20th |  ROAD CLOSURE at The Green, Old Coleford (i.e. on route to Coleford via Kings Head. Alternative via Vobster). The works are expected to commence on 2nd March 2026 and last for 19 days (08:00 – 17:00 Weekdays Only with highway clear at all other times) to carry out structural repair works on the bridge/parapet. | Saturday 21st 2:00pm to 4:00pm |  LITTER PICK (from Memorial Hall) ALL VILLAGERS are welcome/needed to share this annual event. Bring gloves and carrier bags. Litter pickers, fluorescent jackets and black sacks available from the Memorial Hall at 2pm where you can choose an area to clear. Tea, coffee and cake from 3pm in the Memorial Hall. | Saturday 4th April from 6:30pm, Quiz starts at 7:00pm |   EASTER QUIZ (Memorial Hall) April sees a repeat of last year’s successful but challenging Easter Quiz, with questions again set by Gus Unger-Hamilton. Supporting charity Friends of Leigh Church to raise funds for urgent repairs to the church windows, parapets and gulleys. |

All parishioners are encouraged to attend to find out what is happening in our village, ask questions and show some interest in our lovely village! |
