WASTE COLLECTION DATES

Collections start from 6am
Recycling: 3, 10, 17, 24 (weekly Tuesdays)
Refuse Bin: 17th (every 3 weeks, Tuesdays)

Garden Waste: 6th, 20th (fortnightly Fridays)

NB Collection days for recycling and refuse bin shown are for the village, other parish areas may be different.

COFFEE MORNING (Tower Room) Do join us. Help to raise funds for FOLC.
Friday 13th
THE LEIGH LUNCH (Memorial Hall)  Open from 11.30am for coffee with table service. £6 for a 2-course hot lunch, including hot drinks. Email v.l.higginsfox@btinternet.com or call 01373 812087 to book by Tuesday 10th at the latest. Dietary needs catered for – just let us know when you book. Everyone is welcome.
If you would like help with transport please let us know when you book.

PARISH COUNCIL MEETING (Memorial Hall) Agenda – see Village Parish Council Noticeboards, 3 days before the meeting. Parishioners welcome to attend.

HARVEST SUPPER & AUCTION (Memorial Hall) A 2 course supper followed by the entertaining harvest auction (who remembers the carrier bag that once made £30?)
Donations of produce for the auction very welcome – either to the church on Friday/Saturday/Sunday morning or to the hall after 4pm on Sunday. Details here.

HARVEST SERVICE at 3pm, St Giles Church. All welcome

ARTS & CRAFTS EXHIBITION (Memorial Hall) The annual exhibition of all your arts and crafts. Some works are for sale.  FREE entry. There will be no Workshop or Community Project this year, but instead we want to make the Exhibition weekend one of the big village social events of the year to sit, drink, eat and chat beside our village masterpieces! Last date for entry forms is 30th September.

Saturday 19th OctoberBINGO NIGHT (Memorial Hall). Get your tickets early! An evening of fun for all. From 7pm with ‘eyes down’ at 7.30pm in the Memorial Hall. £5 entry including table snacks, with a cash bar. Books of games available to buy on the night.
