How to get Medical Treatment out of Hours
What happens when you need to contact a doctor urgently and your surgery is closed?
NHS111 Out of Hours Medical Service – Tel: 111
NHS 111 provides urgent medical help or advice to patients between the hours of 18.30 and 08.00, Monday to Friday and at weekends and on Bank Holiday. You may be asked to attend a local centre to see the GP.
If your medical condition is not urgent, you should:
telephone your GP Surgery when it is next open,
nearest is Mendip County Practice at Coleford
If your medical condition is critical you should call 999 and ask for an ambulance
