Latest News – September
Car Show – Thanks to everyone who supported the Car Show, especially our local caterers Peppers, who sponsored us and donated the bacon in the excellent bacon baps. We had a great day and made some funds to support the rec as well.
Bonus Club – The winners in Aug were Chris Higgins and Sue Sweet with number 7. They should have their £20 by now. We are now selling next year’s tickets. Please pay by bank transfer if you can. If not, cash is just fine!
Plants – As you may have noticed we have built a raised bed in Coronation Park, and filled it with soil and compost. The plan is to create a sensory garden. If you have any spare plants which have lovely scents or interested shapes, colours or textures, we would love to use them where we can all appreciate them. Either plant the pots in the new bed for us to arrange when we have enough, or let Vicky (01373 812087) know.
Save the Date We are planning a board games afternoon for 9 November. There will be games for all ages, tea, coffee, cake, and soft drinks.
