Part-Night LightingSomerset County Council introduced Part-Night Lighting in the Spring of 2013. This means that all street lights are turned off between midnight and 5:30am.
Somerset County Council Highways Authority is responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of streetlights, traffic signals and illuminated bollards on all adopted highways. If you notice that they are not working or their timing is wrong please contact SCC (search “street lights”) or telephone 0845 6010939.
Alternatively report a variety of problems on FixMyStreet (this generates a report to SCC).
The more information you can give the better (i.e. light out altogether, going on/off, on all day, intermittent, timing etc.), include the number of the pole (NB it is in the range 1-25, don’t confuse with any other markings ) or specify the exact location.
